² the gospel he promised beforehand^(A) through his prophets^(B) in the Holy Scriptures^(C)

² in the hope of eternal life,^(A) which God, who does not lie,^(B) promised before the beginning of time,^(C)

²⁶ but now revealed and made known through the prophetic writings^(A) by the command of the eternal God, so that all the Gentiles might come to the obedience that comes from^[a] faith^(B)—
