Third Trumpet: The Waters Struck

¹⁰ Then the third angel sounded: ^(A)And a great star fell from heaven, burning like a torch, ^(B)and it fell on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water.

^11 (A)The name of the star is Wormwood. ^(B)A third of the waters became wormwood, and many men died from the water, because it was made bitter.

^14 (A)“You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.

¹⁵ Nor do they ^(A)light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.

⁹ The coming of the lawless one is ^(A)according to the working of Satan, with all power, ^(B)signs, and lying wonders, ¹⁰ and with all unrighteous deception among ^(C)those who perish, because they did not receive ^(D)the love of the truth, that they might be saved. ¹¹ And ^(E)for this reason God will send them strong delusion, ^(F)that they should believe the lie, ¹² that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but ^(G)had pleasure in unrighteousness.

The Beast from the Sea

13 Then ^[a]I stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw ^(A)a beast rising up out of the sea, ^(B)having ^[b]seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns, and on his heads a ^(C)blasphemous name.

¹¹ Then I saw another beast ^(A)coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon.
