7 When he opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature say, “Come!” 8 And I looked, and there was a pale green[a] horse. Its rider was named Death, and Hades was following after him.(A) They were[b] given authority(B) over a fourth of the earth, to kill by the sword, by famine, by plague, and by the wild animals of the earth.(C)
