⁴ Surrounding the throne were twenty-four other thrones, and seated on them were twenty-four elders.^(A) They were dressed in white^(B) and had crowns of gold on their heads.

¹⁰ the twenty-four elders^(A) fall down before him^(B) who sits on the throne^(C) and worship him who lives for ever and ever. They lay their crowns before the throne and say:

² I looked, and there before me was a white horse!^(A) Its rider held a bow, and he was given a crown,^(B) and he rode out as a conqueror bent on conquest.^(C)

⁷ The locusts looked like horses prepared for battle.^(A) On their heads they wore something like crowns of gold, and their faces resembled human faces.^(B)
