² I saw the Holy City,^(A) the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God,^(B) prepared as a bride^(C) beautifully dressed for her husband.

¹⁰ For he was looking forward to the city^(A) with foundations,^(B) whose architect and builder is God.^(C)

¹⁰ And he carried me away^(A) in the Spirit^(B) to a mountain great and high, and showed me the Holy City, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God.^(C)

¹⁴ For here we do not have an enduring city,^(A) but we are looking for the city that is to come.^(B)

²² But you have come to Mount Zion,^(A) to the city^(B) of the living God,^(C) the heavenly Jerusalem.^(D) You have come to thousands upon thousands of angels in joyful assembly,

¹⁹ And if anyone takes words away^(A) from this scroll of prophecy,^(B) God will take away from that person any share in the tree of life^(C) and in the Holy City, which are described in this scroll.
