All Things Made New

21 Now ^(A)I saw a new heaven and a new earth, ^(B)for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. ² Then I, ^[a]John, saw ^(C)the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared ^(D)as a bride adorned for her husband. ³ And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, ^(E)the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. ^4 (F)And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; ^(G)there shall be no more death, ^(H)nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”

¹⁰ And he carried me away ^(A)in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me ^(B)the ^[a]great city, the ^[b]holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, ^11 (C)having the glory of God. Her light was like a most precious stone, like a jasper stone, clear as crystal.

The River of Life

22 And he showed me ^(A)a ^[a]pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb.

¹² “And behold, I am coming quickly, and ^(A)My reward is with Me, ^(B)to give to every one according to his work. ^13 (C)I am the Alpha and the Omega, the ^[a]Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.”
