4 Then I saw (A)thrones, and (B)they sat on them, and (C)judgment was given to them. And I saw (D)the souls of those who had been beheaded because of [a]their (E)witness of Jesus and because of the word of God, and who also had not (F)worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received the (G)mark on their forehead and on their hand. And they (H)came to life and (I)reigned with Christ for a thousand years. 5 The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were finished. (J)This is the first resurrection. 6 (K)Blessed and holy is the one who has a part in the first resurrection. Over these the (L)second death has no authority, but they will be (M)priests of God and of Christ and will (N)reign with Him for a thousand years.

They Lived and Reigned With Christ
4 Then I saw thrones, and those who were sitting on them were given the authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshipped the beast and his image, and they did not receive his mark on their forehead and on their hand. They lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. 5 (The rest of the dead did not live until the thousand years came to an end.) This is the first resurrection.
6 Blessed and holy is the one who has a share in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them. Instead they will be priests of God and of Christ. And they will reign with him for a thousand years.
