Satan Bound

20 Then I saw ^(A)an angel coming down from heaven, holding the ^(B)key of the abyss and a great chain ^[a]in his hand. ² And he took hold of the ^(C)dragon, the serpent of old, who is the devil and Satan, and ^(D)bound him for a thousand years;

²⁴ then comes the end, when He hands over ^(A)the kingdom to our ^(B)God and Father, when He has abolished ^(C)all rule and all authority and power. ²⁵ For He must reign ^(D)until He has put all His enemies under His feet.

¹³ waiting from that time onward ^(A)until His enemies are made a footstool for His feet.
