Message to the Seven Churches

(A)John to (B)the seven churches that are in (C)Asia: (D)Grace to you and peace, from (E)the One who is and who was and who [a]is to come, and from (F)the seven Spirits who are before His throne, and from Jesus Christ, (G)the faithful witness, the (H)firstborn of the dead, and the (I)ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him who (J)loves us and released us from our sins [b]by His blood— and He has made us to be a (K)kingdom, (L)priests to [c](M)His God and Father—(N)to Him be the glory and the might forever and ever. Amen. (O)Behold, He is coming with the clouds, and (P)every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him; and all the tribes of the earth will (Q)mourn over Him. Yes, amen.

John,

To the seven churches in the province of Asia:[a]

Grace to you and peace from him who is, who was, and who is coming, and from the seven spirits that are before his throne, and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth.

To him who loves us and has freed[b] us from our sins by his own blood and made us a kingdom and priests to God his Father—to him be the glory and the power forever. Amen.

Look, he is coming with clouds,
and every eye will see him,
including those who pierced him.
And all the nations of the earth will mourn because of him.
Yes. Amen.
