^13 (A)He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called ^(B)The Word of God. ^14 (C)And the armies in heaven, ^(D)clothed in ^[a]fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. ¹⁵ Now ^(E)out of His mouth goes a ^[b]sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And ^(F)He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. ^(G)He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

The Eternal Word^(A)

1 In the beginning ^(B)was the Word, and the ^(C)Word was ^(D)with God, and the Word was ^(E)God. ^2 (F)He was in the beginning with God. ^3 (G)All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.

The Word Becomes Flesh

^14 (A)And the Word ^(B)became ^(C)flesh and dwelt among us, and ^(D)we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, ^(E)full of grace and truth.
