Revelation 16:4-7
New International Version
4 The third angel poured out his bowl on the rivers and springs of water,(A) and they became blood.(B) 5 Then I heard the angel in charge of the waters say:
“You are just in these judgments,(C) O Holy One,(D)
you who are and who were;(E)
6 for they have shed the blood of your holy people and your prophets,(F)
and you have given them blood to drink(G) as they deserve.”
7 And I heard the altar(H) respond:

4 Then[a] the third angel[b] poured out his bowl on the rivers and the springs of water, and they turned into blood. 5 Now[c] I heard the angel of the waters saying:
“You are just[d]—the one who is and who was,
the Holy One—because you have passed these judgments,[e]
6 because they poured out the blood of your saints and prophets,
so[f] you have given them blood to drink. They got what they deserved!”[g]
7 Then[h] I heard the altar reply,[i] “Yes, Lord God, the All-Powerful,[j] your judgments are true and just!”
