The Seventh Bowl

17 Then the seventh[a] poured out his bowl into the air,[b] and a loud voice came out of the temple[c](A) from the throne, saying, “It is done!” 18 There were flashes of lightning, rumblings, and peals of thunder. And a severe earthquake occurred like no other since people have been on the earth, so great was the quake.(B) 19 The great city(C) split into three parts, and the cities of the nations[d] fell. Babylon the Great was remembered in God’s presence; he gave her the cup filled with the wine of his fierce anger.(D) 20 Every island fled, and the mountains disappeared.(E) 21 Enormous hailstones, each weighing about a hundred pounds,[e] fell from the sky on people, and they blasphemed God(F) for the plague of hail because that plague was extremely severe.(G)

17 The seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air,(A) and out of the temple(B) came a loud voice(C) from the throne, saying, “It is done!”(D) 18 Then there came flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder(E) and a severe earthquake.(F) No earthquake like it has ever occurred since mankind has been on earth,(G) so tremendous was the quake. 19 The great city(H) split into three parts, and the cities of the nations collapsed. God remembered(I) Babylon the Great(J) and gave her the cup filled with the wine of the fury of his wrath.(K) 20 Every island fled away and the mountains could not be found.(L) 21 From the sky huge hailstones,(M) each weighing about a hundred pounds,[a] fell on people. And they cursed God(N) on account of the plague of hail,(O) because the plague was so terrible.
