Revelation 14:9-13

9 Then another angel, a third, followed them, crying with a loud voice, “Those who worship the beast and its image and receive the brand on their foreheads or on their hands,(A) 10 they will also drink the wine of God’s wrath, poured unmixed into the cup of his anger, and they will be tormented with fire and sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb.(B) 11 And the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever. There is no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and its image and for anyone who receives the brand of its name.”(C)
12 Here is a call for the endurance of the saints, those who keep the commandments of God and hold fast to the faith of[a] Jesus.(D)
13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying, “Write this: Blessed are the dead who from now on die in the Lord.” “Yes,”[b] says the Spirit, “they will rest from their labors, for their deeds follow them.”(E)

9 A[a] third angel[b] followed the first two,[c] declaring[d] in a loud voice: “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and takes the mark on his forehead or his hand, 10 that person[e] will also drink of the wine of God’s anger[f] that has been mixed undiluted in the cup of his wrath, and he will be tortured with fire and sulfur[g] in front of the holy angels and in front of the Lamb. 11 And the smoke from their[h] torture will go up[i] forever and ever, and those who worship the beast and his image will have[j] no rest day or night, along with[k] anyone who receives the mark of his name.” 12 This requires[l] the steadfast endurance[m] of the saints—those who obey[n] God’s commandments and hold to[o] their faith in Jesus.[p]
13 Then[q] I heard a voice from heaven say, “Write this:
‘Blessed are the dead,
those who die in the Lord from this moment on!’”
“Yes,” says the Spirit, “so they can rest from their hard work,[r] because their deeds will follow them.”[s]

- Revelation 14:13 tn Here καί (kai) has been translated as “then” to indicate the implied sequence within the narrative.
