9 A third angel followed them and said in a loud voice: “If anyone worships the beast(A) and its image(B) and receives its mark on their forehead(C) or on their hand, 10 they, too, will drink the wine of God’s fury,(D) which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath.(E) They will be tormented with burning sulfur(F) in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb. 11 And the smoke of their torment will rise for ever and ever.(G) There will be no rest day or night(H) for those who worship the beast and its image,(I) or for anyone who receives the mark of its name.”(J) 12 This calls for patient endurance(K) on the part of the people of God(L) who keep his commands(M) and remain faithful to Jesus.
13 Then I heard a voice from heaven say, “Write this: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord(N) from now on.”
“Yes,” says the Spirit,(O) “they will rest from their labor, for their deeds will follow them.”

9 Then another angel, a third, followed them, crying with a loud voice, “Those who worship the beast and its image and receive the brand on their foreheads or on their hands,(A) 10 they will also drink the wine of God’s wrath, poured unmixed into the cup of his anger, and they will be tormented with fire and sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb.(B) 11 And the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever. There is no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and its image and for anyone who receives the brand of its name.”(C)
12 Here is a call for the endurance of the saints, those who keep the commandments of God and hold fast to the faith of[a] Jesus.(D)
13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying, “Write this: Blessed are the dead who from now on die in the Lord.” “Yes,”[b] says the Spirit, “they will rest from their labors, for their deeds follow them.”(E)
