Doom for Worshipers of the Beast
9 Then another angel, a third one, followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone (A)worships the beast and his (B)image, and receives a (C)mark on his forehead or on his hand, 10 he also will drink of the (D)wine of the wrath of God, which is mixed [a]in full strength (E)in the cup of His anger; and he will be tormented with (F)fire and [b]brimstone in the presence of the (G)holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. 11 And the (H)smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; (I)they have no rest day and night, those who (J)worship the beast and his (K)image, and [c]whoever receives the (L)mark of his name.” 12 Here is (M)the [d]perseverance of the [e]saints who (N)keep the commandments of God and [f](O)their faith in Jesus.
13 And I heard a voice from heaven, saying, “Write: ‘(P)Blessed are the dead who (Q)die in the Lord from now on!’” “Yes,” (R)says the Spirit, “so that they may (S)rest from their labors, for their (T)deeds follow with them.”

New Living Translation
9 Then a third angel followed them, shouting, “Anyone who worships the beast and his statue or who accepts his mark on the forehead or on the hand 10 must drink the wine of God’s anger. It has been poured full strength into God’s cup of wrath. And they will be tormented with fire and burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and the Lamb. 11 The smoke of their torment will rise forever and ever, and they will have no relief day or night, for they have worshiped the beast and his statue and have accepted the mark of his name.”
12 This means that God’s holy people must endure persecution patiently, obeying his commands and maintaining their faith in Jesus.
13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying, “Write this down: Blessed are those who die in the Lord from now on. Yes, says the Spirit, they are blessed indeed, for they will rest from their hard work; for their good deeds follow them!”
