and (A)in their mouth no lie was found, for they are (B)blameless.

The Messages of the Three Angels

Then I saw another angel (C)flying directly overhead, with an eternal gospel to proclaim to (D)those who dwell on earth, to every nation and tribe and language and people. And he said with a loud voice, (E)“Fear God and (F)give him glory, because the hour of his judgment has come, and (G)worship him who made heaven and earth, the sea and the (H)springs of water.”

Another angel, a second, followed, saying, (I)“Fallen, fallen is (J)Babylon the great, (K)she who made all nations drink (L)the wine of the passion[a] of her sexual immorality.”

And another angel, a third, followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone (M)worships the beast and its image and receives (N)a mark on his forehead or on his hand, 10 he also will drink (O)the wine of God's wrath, (P)poured full strength into the cup of his anger, and (Q)he will be tormented with fire and sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. 11 And (R)the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever, and (S)they have no rest, day or night, these (T)worshipers of the beast and its image, and whoever receives the mark of its name.”

12 (U)Here is a call for the endurance of the saints, those who (V)keep the commandments of God and their faith in Jesus.[b]

13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying, “Write this: (W)Blessed are the dead (X)who die in the Lord from now on.” “Blessed indeed,” says the Spirit, (Y)“that they may rest from their labors, for their deeds follow them!”

The Harvest of the Earth

14 Then I looked, and behold, a white cloud, and seated on the cloud one (Z)like a son of man, (AA)with a golden crown on his head, and a sharp sickle in his hand. 15 And another angel (AB)came out of the temple, calling with a loud voice to him who sat on the cloud, (AC)“Put in your sickle, and reap, for the hour to reap has come, for (AD)the harvest of the earth is fully ripe.” 16 So he who sat on the cloud swung his sickle across the earth, and the earth was reaped.

17 Then another angel came out of the temple in heaven, and he too had a sharp sickle. 18 And another angel came out from the altar, (AE)the angel who has authority over the fire, and he called with a loud voice to the one who had the sharp sickle, “Put in your sickle and gather the clusters from the vine of the earth, (AF)for its grapes are ripe.” 19 So the angel swung his sickle across the earth and gathered the grape harvest of the earth and threw it into the great (AG)winepress of the wrath of God. 20 And (AH)the winepress was trodden (AI)outside the city, and blood flowed from the winepress, as high as (AJ)a horse's bridle, for 1,600 stadia.[c]

The Seven Angels with Seven Plagues

15 Then (AK)I saw another sign in heaven, great and amazing, (AL)seven angels with seven plagues, which are the last, for with them the wrath of God is finished.

And I saw (AM)what appeared to be a sea of glass mingled with fire—and also those (AN)who had conquered the beast and its image and (AO)the number of its name, standing beside the sea of glass (AP)with harps of God in their hands. And they sing (AQ)the song of Moses, (AR)the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying,

(AS)“Great and amazing are your deeds,
    O Lord God the Almighty!
(AT)Just and true are your ways,
    O King of the nations![d]
(AU)Who will not fear, O Lord,
    and glorify your name?
For you alone are (AV)holy.
    (AW)All nations will come
    and worship you,
for your righteous acts have been revealed.”

After this I looked, and (AX)the sanctuary of (AY)the tent[e] of witness in heaven was opened, and out of the sanctuary came (AZ)the seven angels with the seven plagues, clothed in pure, bright (BA)linen, (BB)with golden sashes around their chests. And one of (BC)the four living creatures gave to the seven angels seven (BD)golden bowls full of the wrath of God (BE)who lives forever and ever, and (BF)the sanctuary was filled with smoke from the glory of God and from his power, and (BG)no one could enter the sanctuary until the seven plagues of the seven angels were finished.

The Seven Bowls of God's Wrath

16 Then I heard a loud voice from the temple telling (BH)the seven angels, “Go and (BI)pour out on the earth (BJ)the seven bowls of the wrath of God.”

So the first angel went and poured out his bowl on the earth, and harmful and painful (BK)sores came upon the people who bore (BL)the mark of the beast and worshiped its image.

The second angel poured out his bowl into the sea, and (BM)it became like the blood of a corpse, and (BN)every living thing died that was in the sea.

The third angel poured out his bowl into (BO)the rivers and the springs of water, and (BP)they became blood. And I heard the angel in charge of the waters[f] say,

(BQ)“Just are you, (BR)O Holy One, (BS)who is and who was,
    for you brought these judgments.
For (BT)they have shed the blood of (BU)saints and prophets,
and (BV)you have given them blood to drink.
It is what they deserve!”

And I heard (BW)the altar saying,

“Yes, Lord God the Almighty,
(BX)true and just are your judgments!”

The fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and it was allowed to scorch people (BY)with fire. They were scorched by the fierce heat, and (BZ)they cursed[g] the name of God who had power over these plagues. (CA)They did not repent (CB)and give him glory.

10 The fifth angel poured out his bowl on (CC)the throne of the beast, and (CD)its kingdom was plunged into darkness. People gnawed their tongues in anguish 11 and cursed (CE)the God of heaven for their pain and (CF)sores. (CG)They did not repent of their deeds.

12 The sixth angel poured out his bowl on (CH)the great river Euphrates, and (CI)its water was dried up, (CJ)to prepare the way for the kings (CK)from the east. 13 And I saw, coming out of the mouth of (CL)the dragon and out of the mouth of (CM)the beast and out of the mouth of (CN)the false prophet, three (CO)unclean spirits like (CP)frogs. 14 For they are (CQ)demonic spirits, (CR)performing signs, who go abroad to the kings of the whole world, (CS)to assemble them for battle on (CT)the great day of God the Almighty. 15 (“Behold, (CU)I am coming like a thief! (CV)Blessed is the one who stays awake, keeping his garments on, (CW)that he may not go about naked and be seen exposed!”)
