7 It was allowed to fight against the people who belong to God, and it had power to win over them. It had power over every family and every group of people and over people of every language and every nation. 8 Every person on the earth from the beginning of the world whose name has not been written in the book of life of the Lamb Who was killed will worship this animal.
9 You have ears! Then listen.

7 It was given power to wage war(A) against God’s holy people and to conquer them. And it was given authority over every tribe, people, language and nation.(B) 8 All inhabitants of the earth(C) will worship the beast—all whose names have not been written in the Lamb’s book of life,(D) the Lamb(E) who was slain from the creation of the world.[a](F)
9 Whoever has ears, let them hear.(G)
