11 Dhe m’u dha një kallam që i ngjante një shufre. Dhe engjëlli duke qëndruar në këmbë tha: “Çohu dhe mat tempullin e Perëndisë, altarin dhe ata që adhurojnë atje,
2 dhe oborrin që është jashtë tempullit lëre dhe mos e mat, sepse u është dhënë johebrenjve; dhe ata do ta shkelin qytetin e shenjtë për dyzet e dy muaj.
3 Dhe unë do t’u jap të dy dëshmitarëve të mi për të profetizuar, dhe ata do të profetizojnë një mijë e dyqind e gjashtëdhjetë ditë, të veshur me thasë.
4 Këta janë të dy drurët e ullirit dhe të dy shandanët që rrijnë përpara Perëndisë së dheut.
5 Dhe, nëse ndokush dëshiron t’u bëjë keq atyre, nga goja e tyre del zjarr dhe i gllabëron armiqtë e tyre; dhe kushdo që dëshëron t’u bëjë keq atyre, në këtë mënyrë duhet vrarë.
6 Ata kanë pushtet të mbyllin qiellin, që të mos bjerë shi në ditët e profecisë së tyre; ata kanë edhe pushtet mbi ujërat t’i kthejnë në gjak dhe për të goditur dheun me çdo plagë, sa herë të duan.
7 Dhe kur ta kryejnë dëshminë e tyre, bisha që ngjitet nga humnera do të bëjë luftë kundër tyre, edhe do t’i mundë ata, dhe do t’i vrasë.
8 Dhe kufomat e tyre do të dergjen në sheshin e qytetit të madh, i cili frymërisht quhet Sodomë dhe Egjipt, ku është kryqëzuar edhe Zoti ynë.
9 Dhe njerëz nga popuj, dhe fise, dhe gjuhë, dhe kombe do të shohin kufomat e tyre për tri ditë e gjysmë, dhe nuk do të lënë që kufomat e tyre të shtihen në varr.
10 Dhe banorët e dheut do të ngazëllojnë për ata dhe do të bëjnë festë; dhe do t’i dërgojnë njeri tjetrit dhurata, sepse këta dy profetë i munduan ata që banojnë mbi dhe.”
11 Por mbas tri ditë e gjysmë, fryma e jetës që buron nga Perëndia hyri në ta; edhe qëndruan në këmbët e tyre, dhe një tmerr e madh ra mbi ata që i shikonin.
12 Edhe dëgjuan një zë të madh nga qielli duke u thënë atyre: “Ngjituni këtu lart.” Dhe u ngjitën në qiell në një re; dhe armiqtë e tyre i panë.
13 Dhe në atë orë ra një tërmet i madh, dhe e dhjeta pjesë e qytetit u rrëzua, dhe në tërmet u vranë shtatë mijë njerëz; dhe të tjerët u tmerruan dhe i dhanë lavdi Perëndisë së qiellit.
14 Mjerimi i dytë kaloi, por ja, mjerimi i tretë do vijë së shpejti.
15 Dhe engjëlli i shtatë i ra borisë dhe u bënë zëra të mëdhenj në qiell që thoshnin: “Mbretëritë e botës u bënë mbretëri të Zotit tonë dhe të Krishtit të tij, dhe ai do të mbretërojë në shekuj të shekujve.”
16 Atëherë të njëzet e katër pleqtë që rrinin përpara Perëndisë mbi fronet e tyre, ranë përmbys mbi fytyrat e veta dhe adhuruan Perëndinë,
17 duke thënë: “Ne të falënderojmë, o Zot, Perëndi i Plotfuqishmi, që je, që ishe dhe që do të vish, sepse more në dorë pushtetin tënd të madh, dhe mbretëron.
18 Kombet ishin zemëruar, por erdhi mëria jote, dhe erdhi koha që të gjykohen të vdekurit dhe t’u jepet paga shërbëtorëve të tu, profetëve, dhe shenjtorëve, dhe atyre që druajnë emrin tënd, të vegjëlve dhe të mëdhenjve, dhe të shkatërrosh ata që shkatërrojnë dheun.”
19 Atëherë u hap tempulli i Perëndisë në qiell dhe u duk arka e besëlidhjes së tij, dhe ndodhnin vetëtima, dhe zëra, dhe bubullima, dhe tërmet, dhe një rebesh i fortë breshëri.

11 Luego me fue dada una vara para medir y me fue dicho: «Ve y mide el templo de Dios y el altar, y cuenta el número de adoradores; 2 pero no midas el atrio exterior porque ha sido entregado a las naciones, las cuales pisotearán la ciudad santa durante cuarenta y dos meses. 3 Mientras tanto, yo daré poder a mis dos testigos, y ellos se vestirán de tela áspera y profetizarán durante esos 1260 días».
4 Estos dos profetas son los dos olivos y los dos candelabros que están delante del Señor de toda la tierra. 5 Si alguien trata de hacerles daño, sale fuego de sus bocas y consume a sus enemigos. Así debe morir cualquiera que intente hacerles daño. 6 Ellos tienen el poder de cerrar los cielos para que no llueva durante el tiempo que profeticen. También tienen el poder de convertir los ríos y los mares en sangre, y de azotar la tierra cuantas veces quieran con toda clase de plagas.
7 Cuando los testigos hayan terminado de dar su testimonio, la bestia que sube del abismo sin fondo[a] declarará la guerra contra ellos, los conquistará y los matará. 8 Y sus cuerpos quedarán tendidos en la calle principal de Jerusalén,[b] la ciudad que simbólicamente se llama «Sodoma» y «Egipto», la ciudad en la cual su Señor fue crucificado. 9 Y durante tres días y medio, todos los pueblos y todas las tribus, lenguas y naciones se quedarán mirando los cadáveres. A nadie se le permitirá enterrarlos. 10 Los que pertenecen a este mundo se alegrarán y se harán regalos unos a otros para celebrar la muerte de los dos profetas que los habían atormentado.
11 Pero después de tres días y medio, Dios sopló vida en ellos, ¡y se pusieron de pie! El terror se apoderó de todos los que estaban mirándolos. 12 Luego una fuerte voz del cielo llamó a los dos profetas: «¡Suban aquí!». Entonces ellos subieron al cielo en una nube mientras sus enemigos los veían.
13 En ese mismo momento, hubo un gran terremoto que destruyó la décima parte de la ciudad. Murieron siete mil personas en el terremoto, y todos los demás quedaron aterrorizados y le dieron la gloria al Dios del cielo.
14 El segundo terror ya pasó, pero mira, el tercer terror viene pronto.

15 Entonces el séptimo ángel tocó su trompeta, y hubo fuertes voces que gritaban en el cielo:
«Ahora el mundo ya es el reino de nuestro Señor y de su Cristo,[c]
y él reinará por siempre y para siempre».
16 Los veinticuatro ancianos que estaban sentados en sus tronos delante de Dios se postraron rostro en tierra y lo adoraron, 17 diciendo:
«Te damos gracias, Señor Dios, el Todopoderoso,
el que es y que siempre fue,
porque ahora has tomado tu gran poder
y has comenzado a reinar.
18 Las naciones se llenaron de ira,
pero ahora el tiempo de tu ira ha llegado.
Es tiempo de juzgar a los muertos
y de recompensar a tus siervos, los profetas,
y también a tu pueblo santo
y a todos los que temen tu nombre,
desde el menos importante hasta el más importante.
Es tiempo de destruir
a todos los que han causado destrucción en la tierra».
19 Después se abrió en el cielo el templo de Dios, y el arca de su pacto se podía ver dentro del templo. Salieron relámpagos, rugieron truenos y estruendos, y hubo un terremoto y una fuerte tormenta de granizo.

The Two Witnesses
11 I was given a reed like a measuring rod(A) and was told, “Go and measure the temple of God and the altar, with its worshipers. 2 But exclude the outer court;(B) do not measure it, because it has been given to the Gentiles.(C) They will trample on the holy city(D) for 42 months.(E) 3 And I will appoint my two witnesses,(F) and they will prophesy for 1,260 days,(G) clothed in sackcloth.”(H) 4 They are “the two olive trees”(I) and the two lampstands, and “they stand before the Lord of the earth.”[a](J) 5 If anyone tries to harm them, fire comes from their mouths and devours their enemies.(K) This is how anyone who wants to harm them must die.(L) 6 They have power to shut up the heavens(M) so that it will not rain during the time they are prophesying;(N) and they have power to turn the waters into blood(O) and to strike the earth with every kind of plague as often as they want.
7 Now when they have finished their testimony, the beast(P) that comes up from the Abyss(Q) will attack them,(R) and overpower and kill them. 8 Their bodies will lie in the public square of the great city(S)—which is figuratively called Sodom(T) and Egypt—where also their Lord was crucified.(U) 9 For three and a half days some from every people, tribe, language and nation(V) will gaze on their bodies and refuse them burial.(W) 10 The inhabitants of the earth(X) will gloat over them and will celebrate by sending each other gifts,(Y) because these two prophets had tormented those who live on the earth.
11 But after the three and a half days(Z) the breath[b] of life from God entered them,(AA) and they stood on their feet, and terror struck those who saw them. 12 Then they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, “Come up here.”(AB) And they went up to heaven in a cloud,(AC) while their enemies looked on.
13 At that very hour there was a severe earthquake(AD) and a tenth of the city collapsed. Seven thousand people were killed in the earthquake, and the survivors were terrified and gave glory(AE) to the God of heaven.(AF)
14 The second woe has passed; the third woe is coming soon.(AG)
The Seventh Trumpet
15 The seventh angel sounded his trumpet,(AH) and there were loud voices(AI) in heaven, which said:
“The kingdom of the world has become
the kingdom of our Lord and of his Messiah,(AJ)
and he will reign for ever and ever.”(AK)
16 And the twenty-four elders,(AL) who were seated on their thrones before God, fell on their faces(AM) and worshiped God, 17 saying:
“We give thanks(AN) to you, Lord God Almighty,(AO)
the One who is and who was,(AP)
because you have taken your great power
and have begun to reign.(AQ)
18 The nations were angry,(AR)
and your wrath has come.
The time has come for judging the dead,(AS)
and for rewarding your servants the prophets(AT)
and your people who revere your name,
both great and small(AU)—
and for destroying those who destroy the earth.”
19 Then God’s temple(AV) in heaven was opened, and within his temple was seen the ark of his covenant.(AW) And there came flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder,(AX) an earthquake and a severe hailstorm.(AY)

2 But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.
3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.
5 And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.
6 These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.
7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.
8 And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.
9 And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.
10 And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.
11 And after three days and an half the spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.
12 And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.
13 And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.
14 The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly.
15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.
16 And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God,
17 Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.
18 And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.
19 And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.
