6 They have authority to shut the sky, so that no rain may fall during the days of their prophesying, and they have authority over the waters to turn them into blood and to strike the earth with every kind of plague, as often as they desire.(A)
7 When they have finished their testimony, the beast that comes up from the bottomless pit will wage war on them and conquer them and kill them,(B) 8 and their dead bodies will lie in the street of the great city that is prophetically[a] called Sodom and Egypt, where also their Lord was crucified.(C)

6 They have power to shut up the heavens(A) so that it will not rain during the time they are prophesying;(B) and they have power to turn the waters into blood(C) and to strike the earth with every kind of plague as often as they want.
7 Now when they have finished their testimony, the beast(D) that comes up from the Abyss(E) will attack them,(F) and overpower and kill them. 8 Their bodies will lie in the public square of the great city(G)—which is figuratively called Sodom(H) and Egypt—where also their Lord was crucified.(I)
