The Angel and the Little Scroll
10 Then I saw another (A)strong angel (B)coming down out of heaven, clothed with a cloud, and the (C)rainbow was upon his head, and (D)his face was like the sun, and his (E)feet like pillars of fire; 2 and he had in his hand a (F)little scroll which was open. He placed (G)his right foot on the sea and his left on the earth, 3 and he cried out with a loud voice, (H)as when a lion roars. And when he had cried out, the (I)seven peals of thunder [a]uttered their voices. 4 And when the seven peals of thunder had spoken, (J)I was about to write; and I (K)heard a voice from heaven saying, “(L)Seal up the things which the seven peals of thunder have spoken and do not write them.” 5 Then the angel, whom I saw standing on the sea and on the earth, (M)lifted up his right hand to heaven, 6 (N)and swore by (O)Him who lives forever and ever, (P)who created heaven and the things in it, and the earth and the things in it, and the sea and the things in it, that (Q)there will be delay no longer, 7 but in the days of the voice of the (R)seventh angel, when he is about to sound, then (S)the mystery of God is finished, as He proclaimed good news to His slaves, the prophets.
8 Then (T)the voice which I heard from heaven, I heard again speaking with me, and saying, “Go, take (U)the scroll which is open in the hand of the angel who (V)stands on the sea and on the earth.” 9 So I went to the angel, telling him to give me the little scroll. And he *said to me, “(W)Take it and eat it; it will make your stomach bitter, but in your mouth it will be sweet as honey.” 10 And I took the little scroll out of the angel’s hand and ate it, and in my mouth it was sweet as honey; and when I had eaten it, my stomach was made bitter. 11 And (X)they *said to me, “You must (Y)prophesy again about (Z)many peoples and nations and tongues and (AA)kings.”

10 Vi a otro ángel poderoso[a](A) que descendía del cielo(B), envuelto en una nube. El arco iris estaba sobre su cabeza(C), su rostro era como el sol(D) y sus pies como columnas de fuego(E). 2 Tenía en su mano un librito(F) abierto. Puso el pie derecho sobre el mar y el izquierdo sobre la tierra(G), 3 y gritó a gran voz, como ruge un león(H). Y cuando gritó, los siete truenos emitieron[b] sus voces(I). 4 Después que los siete truenos hablaron, iba yo a escribir(J), cuando[c] oí una voz del cielo(K) que decía: «Sella las cosas que los siete truenos han dicho y no las escribas(L)».
5 Entonces el ángel que yo había visto de pie sobre el mar y sobre la tierra, levantó su mano derecha al cielo(M), 6 y juró por Aquel que vive por los siglos de los siglos(N), quien creó el cielo y las cosas que en él hay, y la tierra y las cosas que en ella hay, y el mar y las cosas que en él hay(O), que ya no habrá más demora[d](P). 7 Porque en los días de la voz del séptimo ángel(Q), cuando esté para tocar la trompeta, entonces el misterio de Dios será[e] consumado(R), como Él lo anunció[f] a Sus siervos los profetas.
8 La voz que yo había oído del cielo(S), la oí de nuevo hablando conmigo: «Ve, toma el libro que está abierto en la mano del ángel que está de pie sobre el mar y sobre la tierra(T)». 9 Entonces fui al ángel y le dije que me diera el librito. Y él me dijo*: «Tómalo y devóralo(U). Te amargará las entrañas, pero en tu boca será dulce como la miel». 10 Tomé el librito de la mano del ángel y lo devoré, y en mi boca fue dulce como la miel; pero cuando lo comí, me amargó las entrañas.
11 Y me dijeron*[g](V): «Debes profetizar otra vez(W) acerca de muchos pueblos, naciones, lenguas(X) y reyes(Y)».

Ang Anghel at ang Maliit na Kasulatan
10 Pagkatapos nito, isa na namang makapangyarihang anghel ang nakita ko, bumababa siya mula sa langit. Nababalot siya ng mga ulap at may bahaghari sa kanyang ulo. Ang mukha niya ay nagliliwanag tulad ng araw at ang mga paa niya ay parang nagliliyab na apoy. 2 May hawak siyang maliit na kasulatang nakabukas. Itinuntong niya sa dagat ang kanang paa niya at sa lupa naman ang kaliwa. 3 Sumigaw siya nang malakas na parang atungal ng leon, at tinugon naman siya ng dagundong ng pitong kulog. 4 Isusulat ko na sana ang sinabi ng pitong kulog, ngunit may nagsalita sa akin mula sa langit, “Ilihim mo ang sinabi ng pitong kulog. Huwag mong isulat.”
5 Itinaas ng anghel na nakatayo sa dagat at sa lupa, ang kanang kamay niya sa langit 6 at nanumpa sa Dios na nabubuhay magpakailanman, na siyang lumikha ng langit, lupa at dagat, at ng lahat ng naroon. Sinabi ng anghel, “Hindi na magtatagal ang panahon. 7 Kapag pinatunog na ng ikapitong anghel ang kanyang trumpeta, matutupad na ang lihim na plano ng Dios ayon sa sinabi ng mga propeta na kanyang lingkod.”
8 Muling nagsalita sa akin ang tinig na mula sa langit. Sinabi niya, “Pumunta ka sa anghel na nakatayo sa dagat at sa lupa, at kunin mo sa kamay niya ang nakabukas na kasulatan.” 9 Kaya lumapit ako sa anghel at hiningi ko ang kasulatang iyon. Sinabi niya sa akin, “Narito, kunin mo at kainin. Matamis ito na parang pulot sa bibig mo, ngunit magiging mapait sa tiyan mo.” 10 Kinuha ko ang kasulatan sa kamay niya at kinain. Kasintamis nga ito ng pulot sa aking bibig, ngunit nang malunok ko na ay naging mapait sa aking tiyan.
11 Pagkatapos, may nagsabi sa akin, “Kailangang ipahayag mong muli ang mensahe ng Dios tungkol sa ibaʼt ibang tao, bansa, wika at hari.”
