⁷ Behold, he cometh with the clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they that pierced him; and all the tribes of the earth shall mourn over him. Even so, Amen.

⁸ I am the Alpha and the Omega, saith the Lord God, ^[a]who is and who was and ^[b]who is to come, the Almighty.

¹⁷ And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as one dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying, Fear not; I am the first and the last, ¹⁸ and the Living one; and I ^[a]was dead, and behold, I am alive ^[b]for evermore, and I have the keys of death and of Hades.

⁸ And to the angel of the church in Smyrna write:

These things saith the first and the last, who ^[a]was dead, and lived again:

⁶ And he said unto me, They are come to pass. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

¹² Behold, I come quickly; and my ^[a]reward is with me, to render to each man according as his work is. ¹³ I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.

¹⁶ I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things ^[a]for the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, the bright, the morning star.

²⁰ He who testifieth these things saith, Yea: I come quickly. Amen: come, Lord Jesus.

17 And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, Jehovah appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am ^[a]God Almighty; walk before me, and be thou perfect.

³ and I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, as ^[a]God Almighty; but ^[b]by my name Jehovah I was not ^[c]known to them.
