10 The third angel blew his trumpet, and a great star fell from heaven, blazing like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water.(A) 11 The name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters became wormwood, and many died from the water because it was made bitter.(B)
12 The fourth angel blew his trumpet, and a third of the sun was struck, and a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of their light was darkened; a third of the day was kept from shining and likewise the night.(C)

10 The third angel sounded his trumpet, and a great star, blazing like a torch, fell from the sky(A) on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water(B)— 11 the name of the star is Wormwood.[a] A third(C) of the waters turned bitter, and many people died from the waters that had become bitter.(D)
12 The fourth angel sounded his trumpet, and a third of the sun was struck, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third(E) of them turned dark.(F) A third of the day was without light, and also a third of the night.(G)
