10 The third angel blew his trumpet. Then a great star fell from the sky. It looked like a blazing torch. It fell on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water. 11 The name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the water turned bitter. Many people died from it.
12 The fourth angel blew his trumpet. Then a third of the sun was struck. A third of the moon was struck. A third of the stars were struck. So a third of each of them turned dark. Then a third of the day had no light. The same thing happened to a third of the night.

New International Version
10 The third angel sounded his trumpet, and a great star, blazing like a torch, fell from the sky(A) on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water(B)— 11 the name of the star is Wormwood.[a] A third(C) of the waters turned bitter, and many people died from the waters that had become bitter.(D)
12 The fourth angel sounded his trumpet, and a third of the sun was struck, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third(E) of them turned dark.(F) A third of the day was without light, and also a third of the night.(G)
