10 The third angel blew his trumpet, and a great star, blazing like a torch, fell from heaven.(A) It fell on a third of the rivers and springs of water. 11 The name of the star is Wormwood,(B) and a third of the waters became wormwood. So, many of the people died from the waters, because they had been made bitter.

10 When the third angel blew his trumpet, a huge star blazing like a torch fell from heaven. It fell on one-third of the rivers and on the springs of water. 11 The name of the star is Wormwood. One-third of the water turned into wormwood, and many people died from the water because it had turned bitter.

10 The third angel sounded his trumpet, and a great star, blazing like a torch, fell from the sky(A) on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water(B)— 11 the name of the star is Wormwood.[a] A third(C) of the waters turned bitter, and many people died from the waters that had become bitter.(D)
