8 When he took the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each held a harp and gold bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. 9 They took up a new song, saying,
“You are worthy to take the scroll and open its seals,
because you were slain,
and by your blood you purchased for God
persons from every tribe, language, people, and nation.
10 You made them a kingdom and priests to our God,
and they will rule on earth.”

8 And when he had taken it, the four living creatures(A) and the twenty-four elders(B) fell down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp(C) and they were holding golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers(D) of God’s people. 9 And they sang a new song, saying:(E)
“You are worthy(F) to take the scroll
and to open its seals,
because you were slain,
and with your blood(G) you purchased(H) for God
persons from every tribe and language and people and nation.(I)
10 You have made them to be a kingdom and priests(J) to serve our God,
and they will reign[a] on the earth.”(K)
