Revelation 22:6-9

King James Version

⁶And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to shew unto his servants the things which must shortly be done.

⁷Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.

⁸And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things.

⁹Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.

⁸^(H)I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. And when I heard and saw them, ^(I)I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who showed me these things. ⁹And ^(J)he *said to me, “^[b]Do not do that; I am a ^(K)fellow servant of yours and of your brothers the prophets, and of those who ^[c]keep the words of ^(L)this book. Worship God!”

John and the Angel

⁶The angel said to me,^(A) “These words are trustworthy and true.^(B) The Lord, the God who inspires the prophets,^(C) sent his angel^(D) to show his servants the things that must soon take place.”

⁷“Look, I am coming soon!^(E) Blessed^(F) is the one who keeps the words of the prophecy written in this scroll.”^(G)

⁸I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things.^(H) And when I had heard and seen them, I fell down to worship at the feet^(I) of the angel who had been showing them to me. ⁹But he said to me, “Don’t do that! I am a fellow servant with you and with your fellow prophets and with all who keep the words of this scroll.^(J) Worship God!”^(K)
