He who was seated on the throne(A) said, “I am making everything new!”(B) Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”(C)

He said to me: “It is done.(D) I am the Alpha and the Omega,(E) the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give water without cost(F) from the spring of the water of life.(G) Those who are victorious(H) will inherit all this, and I will be their God and they will be my children.(I) But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars(J)—they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur.(K) This is the second death.”(L)

The New Jerusalem, the Bride of the Lamb

One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues(M) came and said to me, “Come, I will show you the bride,(N) the wife of the Lamb.” 10 And he carried me away(O) in the Spirit(P) to a mountain great and high, and showed me the Holy City, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God.(Q)

But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
