23 (A)The city had no need of the sun or of the moon to shine [a]in it, for the [b]glory of God illuminated it. The Lamb is its light. 24 (B)And the nations [c]of those who are saved shall walk in its light, and the kings of the earth bring their glory and honor [d]into it. 25 (C)Its gates shall not be shut at all by day (D)(there shall be no night there).

23 The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God(A) gives it light,(B) and the Lamb(C) is its lamp. 24 The nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their splendor into it.(D) 25 On no day will its gates(E) ever be shut,(F) for there will be no night there.(G)
