Blessed and holy are the ones who take part in the first resurrection. Over these, the second death has no power; they will serve as priests of God and His Anointed, and they will reign with Him for 1,000 years.

When the 1,000 years are completed, Satan will be released from his prison. And he will crawl out of the abyss in order to deceive the nations located at the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog[a] as Ezekiel described them, in order to rally them together for one final battle. They are in number as the grains of sand on the shore.

The Judgment of Satan

When the thousand years are over,(E) Satan will be released from his prison and will go out to deceive the nations(F) in the four corners of the earth(G)—Gog and Magog(H)—and to gather them for battle.(I) In number they are like the sand on the seashore.(J)
