14 The armies of heaven, wearing fine linen, white and pure, follow him on white horses. 15 A sharp sword comes out of his mouth to strike down the nations. He will rule[a] them with an iron rod and tread the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. 16 On his robe that covers[b] his thigh he has a name written:
King of Kings and Lord of Lords

14 The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen,(A) white(B) and clean. 15 Coming out of his mouth is a sharp sword(C) with which to strike down(D) the nations. “He will rule them with an iron scepter.”[a](E) He treads the winepress(F) of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. 16 On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written:(G)
king of kings and lord of lords.(H)
