Revelation 17:4-6

4 The woman (A)was clothed in purple and scarlet, and [a]adorned with gold and precious [b]stones and pearls, having in her hand (B)a gold cup full of abominations and of the unclean things of her immorality, 5 and on her forehead a name was written, a (C)mystery, “(D)BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF (E)THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.” 6 And I saw the woman drunk with (F)the blood of the [c]saints, and with the blood of the witnesses of Jesus. When I saw her, I wondered [d]greatly.

4 The woman was dressed in purple and scarlet, and was glittering with gold, precious stones and pearls.(A) She held a golden cup(B) in her hand, filled with abominable things and the filth of her adulteries.(C) 5 The name written on her forehead was a mystery:(D)
6 I saw that the woman was drunk with the blood of God’s holy people,(G) the blood of those who bore testimony to Jesus.
When I saw her, I was greatly astonished.
