¹⁶ And ^(A)the ten horns that you saw, they and the beast ^(B)will hate the prostitute. They will make her ^(C)desolate and ^(D)naked, and ^(E)devour her flesh and ^(F)burn her up with fire,

The First Beast

13 And I saw a beast rising out of the sea, ^(A)with ten horns and seven heads, with ten diadems on its horns and ^(B)blasphemous names on its heads.

A Vision of Horns and Craftsmen

^18 [a] And I lifted my eyes and saw, and behold, ^(A)four horns! ¹⁹ And I said to ^(B)the angel who talked with me, “What are these?” And he said to me, ^(C)“These are the horns that have scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem.” ²⁰ Then the Lord showed me four craftsmen. ²¹ And I said, “What are these coming to do?” He said, ^(D)“These are the horns that scattered Judah, so that no one raised his head. And these have come ^(E)to terrify them, to cast down the horns of the nations ^(F)who lifted up their horns against the land of Judah to scatter it.”
