Revelation 16:8-9

New International Version

⁸The fourth angel^(A) poured out his bowl on the sun,^(B) and the sun was allowed to scorch people with fire.^(C) ⁹They were seared by the intense heat and they cursed the name of God,^(D) who had control over these plagues, but they refused to repent^(E) and glorify him.^(F)

International Standard Version

⁸The fourth angel poured his bowl on the sun, which then was allowed to burn people with fire, ⁹and they were burned by the fierce heat. They cursed the name of God, who has the authority over these plagues. They did not repent and give him glory.
