Then the third angel poured out his bowl into the (A)rivers and the springs of waters; and they (B)became blood. And I heard the angel of the waters saying, “(C)Righteous are You, (D)the One who is and who was, O (E)Holy One, because You (F)judged these things; for they poured out (G)the blood of saints and prophets, and You have given them (H)blood to drink. The third angel poured out his bowl on the rivers and springs of water,(A) and they became blood.(B) Then I heard the angel in charge of the waters say:

“You are just in these judgments,(C) O Holy One,(D)
    you who are and who were;(E)
for they have shed the blood of your holy people and your prophets,(F)
    and you have given them blood to drink(G) as they deserve.”

And I heard the altar(H) respond:

“Yes, Lord God Almighty,(I)
    true and just are your judgments.”(J)
