The first angel went and poured out his bowl on the land,(A) and ugly, festering sores(B) broke out on the people who had the mark of the beast and worshiped its image.(C)

The second angel poured out his bowl on the sea, and it turned into blood like that of a dead person, and every living thing in the sea died.(D)

The third angel poured out his bowl on the rivers and springs of water,(E) and they became blood.(F) Then I heard the angel in charge of the waters say:

“You are just in these judgments,(G) O Holy One,(H)
    you who are and who were;(I)
for they have shed the blood of your holy people and your prophets,(J)
    and you have given them blood to drink(K) as they deserve.”

And I heard the altar(L) respond:

“Yes, Lord God Almighty,(M)
    true and just are your judgments.”(N)

The fourth angel(O) poured out his bowl on the sun,(P) and the sun was allowed to scorch people with fire.(Q) They were seared by the intense heat and they cursed the name of God,(R) who had control over these plagues, but they refused to repent(S) and glorify him.(T)

10 The fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast,(U) and its kingdom was plunged into darkness.(V) People gnawed their tongues in agony 11 and cursed(W) the God of heaven(X) because of their pains and their sores,(Y) but they refused to repent of what they had done.(Z)

12 The sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates,(AA) and its water was dried up to prepare the way(AB) for the kings from the East.(AC)

And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image.

And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea.

And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood.

And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, because thou hast judged thus.

For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy.

And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments.

And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire.

And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.

10 And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain,

11 And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.

12 And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.

16 The beast and the ten horns(A) you saw will hate the prostitute.(B) They will bring her to ruin(C) and leave her naked;(D) they will eat her flesh(E) and burn her with fire.(F) 17 For God has put it into their hearts(G) to accomplish his purpose by agreeing to hand over to the beast their royal authority,(H) until God’s words are fulfilled.(I) 18 The woman you saw is the great city(J) that rules over the kings of the earth.”

16 And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.

17 For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.

18 And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.
