Revelation 14:7-12

⁷saying with a loud voice, ^(A)“Fear God and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment has come; ^(B)and worship Him who made heaven and earth, the sea and springs of water.”

⁸And another angel followed, saying, ^(C)“Babylon^[a] is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because ^(D)she has made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.”

⁹Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, ^(E)“If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his ^(F)mark on his forehead or on his hand, ¹⁰he himself ^(G)shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is ^(H)poured out full strength into ^(I)the cup of His indignation. ^(J)He shall be tormented with ^(K)fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. ¹¹And ^(L)the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.”

¹²^(M)Here is the ^[b]patience of the saints; ^(N)here^[c] are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.

Revelation 14:7-12

New International Version

⁷He said in a loud voice, “Fear God^(A) and give him glory,^(B) because the hour of his judgment has come. Worship him who made^(C) the heavens, the earth, the sea and the springs of water.”^(D)

⁸A second angel followed and said, “‘Fallen! Fallen is Babylon the Great,’^[a]^(E) which made all the nations drink the maddening wine of her adulteries.”^(F)

⁹A third angel followed them and said in a loud voice: “If anyone worships the beast^(G) and its image^(H) and receives its mark on their forehead^(I) or on their hand, ¹⁰they, too, will drink the wine of God’s fury,^(J) which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath.^(K) They will be tormented with burning sulfur^(L) in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb. ¹¹And the smoke of their torment will rise for ever and ever.^(M) There will be no rest day or night^(N) for those who worship the beast and its image,^(O) or for anyone who receives the mark of its name.”^(P) ¹²This calls for patient endurance^(Q) on the part of the people of God^(R) who keep his commands^(S) and remain faithful to Jesus.
