³ And I saw one of his heads as if it had been ^[a]slain fatally, and his ^(A)fatal wound was healed. And the whole earth ^(B)marveled and followed after the beast.

¹² And he ^(A)exercises all the authority of the first beast ^[a](B)in his presence. And he makes ^(C)the earth and those who dwell in it to ^(D)worship the first beast, whose ^(E)fatal wound was healed.

¹⁴ And he ^(A)deceives ^(B)those who dwell on the earth because of ^(C)the signs which were given to him to do ^[a](D)in the presence of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who *had the ^(E)wound of the sword and has come to life.

¹¹ And the beast which ^(A)was and is not, is himself also an eighth and is one of the seven, and he ^(B)goes to destruction.
