The Beast from the Earth
11 Then (A)I saw another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had (B)two horns like a lamb, and he spoke as a (C)dragon. 12 He (D)exercises all the authority of the first beast [a](E)in his presence. And he makes (F)the earth and those who live on it (G)worship the first beast, whose (H)fatal wound was healed. 13 He (I)performs great signs, so that he even makes (J)fire come down out of the sky to the earth in the presence of people. 14 And he (K)deceives (L)those who live on the earth because of (M)the signs which it was given him to perform [b](N)in the presence of the beast, telling those who live on the earth to make an image to the beast who *had the (O)wound of the sword and has come to life.

The Beast out of the Earth
11 Then I saw a second beast, coming out of the earth.(A) It had two horns like a lamb, but it spoke like a dragon.(B) 12 It exercised all the authority(C) of the first beast on its behalf,(D) and made the earth and its inhabitants worship the first beast,(E) whose fatal wound had been healed.(F) 13 And it performed great signs,(G) even causing fire to come down from heaven(H) to the earth in full view of the people. 14 Because of the signs(I) it was given power to perform on behalf of the first beast, it deceived(J) the inhabitants of the earth.(K) It ordered them to set up an image in honor of the beast who was wounded by the sword and yet lived.(L)

12 And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.
13 And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,
14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.
