“We thank you, Adonai Elohei-Tzva’ot,[a]
    who is and who was,
because You have taken Your great power
    and begun to reign.
18 The nations were enraged,
    but Your wrath has come[b]
and the time for the dead to be judged—
    to reward Your servants,
    the prophets and kedoshim,
    and those who fear Your name,
    the small and the great,
and to destroy the destroyers of the earth.”[c]

19 Then the Temple of God in heaven was opened, and the Ark of His Covenant appeared in His Temple. And there were flashes of lightning and rumblings and clashes of thunder and an earthquake and heavy hail.[d]
