The second angel poured out his bowl on the sea, and it turned into blood like that of a dead person, and every living thing in the sea died.(A)

The third angel poured out his bowl on the rivers and springs of water,(B) and they became blood.(C) Then I heard the angel in charge of the waters say:

“You are just in these judgments,(D) O Holy One,(E)
    you who are and who were;(F)
for they have shed the blood of your holy people and your prophets,(G)
    and you have given them blood to drink(H) as they deserve.”

And I heard the altar(I) respond:

“Yes, Lord God Almighty,(J)
    true and just are your judgments.”(K)

The fourth angel(L) poured out his bowl on the sun,(M) and the sun was allowed to scorch people with fire.(N) They were seared by the intense heat and they cursed the name of God,(O) who had control over these plagues, but they refused to repent(P) and glorify him.(Q)

And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood.

And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, because thou hast judged thus.

For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy.

And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments.

And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire.

And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.
