²¹ And they did not repent of their murders ^(A)or their ^[a]sorceries or their sexual immorality or their thefts.

^8 (A)But the cowardly, ^[a]unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in ^(B)the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”

⁵ And on her forehead a name was written:

^(A)MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT,
THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS
AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS
OF THE EARTH.

^2 (A)with whom the kings of the earth committed fornication, and ^(B)the inhabitants of the earth were made drunk with the wine of her fornication.”

^15 [a]But ^(A)outside are ^(B)dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie.

² For ^(A)true and righteous are His judgments, because He has judged the great harlot who corrupted the earth with her fornication; and He ^(B)has avenged on her the blood of His servants shed by her.”

^23 (A)The light of a lamp shall not shine in you anymore, ^(B)and the voice of bridegroom and bride shall not be heard in you anymore. For ^(C)your merchants were the great men of the earth, ^(D)for by your sorcery all the nations were deceived. ²⁴ And ^(E)in her was found the blood of prophets and saints, and of all who ^(F)were slain on the earth.”

³ For all the nations ^(A)have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, ^(B)and the merchants of the earth have become rich through the ^[a]abundance of her luxury.”
