⁴ And ^(A)I heard the number of the sealed, 144,000, sealed from every tribe of the sons of Israel:

The Lamb and the 144,000

14 Then I looked, and behold, on ^(A)Mount Zion ^(B)stood the Lamb, and with him ^(C)144,000 who ^(D)had his name and his Father's name written ^(E)on their foreheads.

³ and they were singing ^(A)a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and before the elders. ^(B)No one could learn that song except the 144,000 who had been redeemed from the earth.

^30 (A)that you may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom and ^(B)sit on thrones judging ^(C)the twelve tribes of Israel.

²⁸ Jesus said to them, “Truly, I say to you, in the new world,^{[a] (A)}when the Son of Man will sit on his glorious throne, you who have followed me ^(B)will also sit on twelve thrones, ^(C)judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

^7 (A)to which ^(B)our twelve tribes hope to ^(C)attain, as they earnestly worship night and day. And for this hope ^(D)I am accused by Jews, O king!

¹⁶ The number of ^(A)mounted troops was ^(B)twice ten thousand times ten thousand; ^(C)I heard their number.

⁵ So too at the present time there is ^(A)a remnant, chosen by grace. ^6 (B)But if it is by grace, it is no longer on the basis of works; otherwise grace would no longer be grace.
