¹⁵ Therefore they are before the throne of God, and serve Him day and night in His temple. And He who sits on the throne will ^(A)dwell among them.

³ And ^(A)there shall be no more curse, ^(B)but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His ^(C)servants shall serve Him.

³ And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, ^(A)the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. ^4 (B)And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; ^(C)there shall be no more death, ^(D)nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”

⁵ then the Lord will create above every dwelling place of Mount Zion, and above her assemblies, ^(A)a cloud and smoke by day and ^(B)the shining of a flaming fire by night. For over all the glory there will be a ^[a]covering. ⁶ And there will be a tabernacle for shade in the daytime from the heat, ^(C)for a place of refuge, and for a shelter from storm and rain.

²⁵ For David said, “The Lord God of Israel ^(A)has given rest to His people, that they may dwell in Jerusalem forever”;

The Word Becomes Flesh

^14 (A)And the Word ^(B)became ^(C)flesh and dwelt among us, and ^(D)we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, ^(E)full of grace and truth.

^5 (A)There shall be no night there: They need no lamp nor ^(B)light of the sun, for ^(C)the Lord God gives them light. ^(D)And they shall reign forever and ever.

³ They sang as it were a new song before the throne, before the four living creatures, and the elders; and no one could learn that song ^(A)except the hundred and forty-four thousand who were redeemed from the earth. ⁴ These are the ones who were not defiled with women, ^(B)for they are virgins. These are the ones ^(C)who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These ^(D)were ^[a]redeemed from among men, ^(E)being firstfruits to God and to the Lamb. ⁵ And ^(F)in their mouth was found no ^[b]deceit, for ^(G)they are without fault ^[c]before the throne of God.

¹⁹ Then ^(A)the temple of God was opened in heaven, and the ark of ^[a]His covenant was seen in His temple. And ^(B)there were lightnings, noises, thunderings, an earthquake, ^(C)and great hail.
