^7 (A)The first living creature was like a lion, the second living creature like a calf, the third living creature had a face like a man, and the fourth living creature was like a flying eagle.

^14 (A)Each one had four faces: the first face was the face of a cherub, the second face the face of a man, the third the face of a lion, and the fourth the face of an eagle.

¹⁰ As for ^(A)the likeness of their faces, each ^(B)had the face of a man; each of the four had ^(C)the face of a lion on the right side, ^(D)each of the four had the face of an ox on the left side, ^(E)and each of the four had the face of an eagle.

^21 (A)Each one had four faces and each one four wings, and the likeness of the hands of a man was under their wings.

⁶ Before the throne there ^[a]was ^(A)a sea of glass, like crystal. ^(B)And in the midst of the throne, and around the throne, were four living creatures full of eyes in front and in back.

⁴ The first was ^(A)like a lion, and had eagle’s wings. I watched till its wings were plucked off; and it was lifted up from the earth and made to stand on two feet like a man, and a ^(B)man’s heart was given to it.

^8 (A)The hands of a man were under their wings on their four sides; and each of the four had faces and wings.

^49 (A)The Lord will bring a nation against you from afar, from the end of the earth, ^(B)as swift as the eagle flies, a nation whose language you will not understand,

⁹ For it is written in the law of Moses, ^(A)“You shall not muzzle an ox while it treads out the grain.” Is it oxen God is concerned about? ¹⁰ Or does He say it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written, that ^(B)he who plows should plow in hope, and he who threshes in hope should be partaker of his hope.
