⁶ Before the throne there ^[a]was ^(A)a sea of glass, like crystal. ^(B)And in the midst of the throne, and around the throne, were four living creatures full of eyes in front and in back.

² And I saw something like ^(A)a sea of glass ^(B)mingled with fire, and those who have the victory over the beast, ^(C)over his image and ^[a]over his mark and over the ^(D)number of his name, standing on the sea of glass, ^(E)having harps of God.

⁶ And I looked, ^[a]and behold, in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, stood ^(A)a Lamb as though it had been slain, having seven horns and ^(B)seven eyes, which are ^(C)the seven Spirits of God sent out into all the earth.

⁴ And ^(A)the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God who sat on the throne, saying, ^(B)“Amen! Alleluia!”

³ They sang as it were a new song before the throne, before the four living creatures, and the elders; and no one could learn that song ^(A)except the hundred and forty-four thousand who were redeemed from the earth.

¹² And their whole body, with their back, their hands, their wings, and the wheels that the four had, were ^(A)full of eyes all around.

^11 (A)All the angels stood around the throne and the elders and the four living creatures, and fell on their faces before the throne and ^(B)worshiped God,

¹⁴ Then the four living creatures said, “Amen!” And the ^[a]twenty-four elders fell down and worshiped ^[b]Him who lives forever and ever.

First Seal: The Conqueror

6 Now ^(A)I saw when the Lamb opened one of the ^[c]seals; and I heard ^(B)one of the four living creatures saying with a voice like thunder, “Come and see.”

⁸ The four living creatures, each having ^(A)six wings, were full of eyes around and within. And they do not rest day or night, saying:

⁹ Whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to Him who sits on the throne, ^(E)who lives forever and ever,
