Revelation 4:2-6

² Immediately I was ^[a](A)in the Spirit; and behold, ^(B)a throne was standing in heaven, and ^(C)One sitting on the throne. ³ And He who was sitting was like a ^(D)jasper stone and a ^(E)sardius in appearance; and there was a ^[b](F)rainbow around the throne, like an ^(G)emerald in appearance. ^4 (H)Around the throne were ^(I)twenty-four thrones; and upon the thrones I saw ^(J)twenty-four elders ^(K)sitting, clothed in ^(L)white garments, and ^(M)golden crowns on their heads.

The Throne and Worship of the Creator

⁵ Out from the throne come ^(N)flashes of lightning and sounds and peals of thunder. And there were ^(O)seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are ^(P)the seven Spirits of God; ⁶ and before the throne there was something like a ^(Q)sea of glass, like crystal; and in the ^[c]center and ^(R)around the throne, ^(S)four living creatures ^(T)full of eyes in front and behind.
