⁹ But he said to me, “Don’t do that! I am a fellow servant with you and with your fellow prophets and with all who keep the words of this scroll.^(A) Worship God!”^(B)

¹⁰ At this I fell at his feet to worship him.^(A) But he said to me, “Don’t do that! I am a fellow servant with you and with your brothers and sisters who hold to the testimony of Jesus. Worship God!^(B) For it is the Spirit of prophecy who bears testimony to Jesus.”^(C)

¹⁸ Do not let anyone who delights in false humility^(A) and the worship of angels disqualify you.^(B) Such a person also goes into great detail about what they have seen; they are puffed up with idle notions by their unspiritual mind. ¹⁹ They have lost connection with the head,^(C) from whom the whole body,^(D) supported and held together by its ligaments and sinews, grows as God causes it to grow.^(E)

⁷ He said in a loud voice, “Fear God^(A) and give him glory,^(B) because the hour of his judgment has come. Worship him who made^(C) the heavens, the earth, the sea and the springs of water.”^(D)

²⁰ We know also that the Son of God has come^(A) and has given us understanding,^(B) so that we may know him who is true.^(C) And we are in him who is true by being in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.^(D)

¹⁰ the twenty-four elders^(A) fall down before him^(B) who sits on the throne^(C) and worship him who lives for ever and ever. They lay their crowns before the throne and say:

¹⁴ Do not worship any other god,^(A) for the Lord, whose name^(B) is Jealous, is a jealous God.^(C)

¹⁰ Then he told me, “Do not seal up^(A) the words of the prophecy of this scroll,^(B) because the time is near.^(C)
