The Glory of the New Jerusalem

^22 (A)But I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple.

²³ But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will ^(A)worship the Father in ^(B)spirit ^(C)and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.

²⁷ “But ^(A)will God indeed dwell on the earth? Behold, heaven and the ^(B)heaven of heavens cannot contain You. How much less this temple which I have built!

^8 (A)“I am the Alpha and the Omega, ^[a]the Beginning and the End,” says the ^[b]Lord, ^(B)“who is and who was and who is to come, the ^(C)Almighty.”

^4 (A)And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; ^(B)there shall be no more death, ^(C)nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”

⁵ Then ^(D)He who sat on the throne said, ^(E)“Behold, I make all things new.” And He said ^[a]to me, “Write, for ^(F)these words are true and faithful.”

⁷ And I heard ^[a]another from the altar saying, “Even so, ^(A)Lord God Almighty, ^(B)true and righteous are Your judgments.”

⁶ And I looked, ^[a]and behold, in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, stood ^(A)a Lamb as though it had been slain, having seven horns and ^(B)seven eyes, which are ^(C)the seven Spirits of God sent out into all the earth.

⁹ For ^(A)in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead ^[a]bodily;
