⁹ They marched across the breadth of the earth and surrounded^(A) the camp of God’s people, the city he loves.^(B) But fire came down from heaven^(C) and devoured them.

¹⁶ You will advance against my people Israel like a cloud^(A) that covers the land.^(B) In days to come, Gog, I will bring you against my land, so that the nations may know me when I am proved holy^(C) through you before their eyes.^(D)

⁶ I will send fire^(A) on Magog^(B) and on those who live in safety in the coastlands,^(C) and they will know^(D) that I am the Lord.

²² I will execute judgment^(A) on him with plague and bloodshed;^(B) I will pour down torrents of rain, hailstones^(C) and burning sulfur^(D) on him and on his troops and on the many nations with him.^(E)

⁹ You and all your troops and the many nations with you will go up, advancing like a storm;^(A) you will be like a cloud^(B) covering the land.^(C)

¹³ And it performed great signs,^(A) even causing fire to come down from heaven^(B) to the earth in full view of the people.

⁸ He will punish^(A) those who do not know God^(B) and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.^(C)
