²³ I will kill her children with death, and all the churches shall know that I am He who ^(A)searches^[a] the minds and hearts. And I will give to each one of you according to your works.

²⁷ Now ^(A)He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints ^(B)according to the will of God.

²⁷ For ^(A)the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father ^(B)with His angels, ^(C)and then He will reward each according to his works.

²⁴ And they prayed and said, “You, O Lord, ^(A)who know the hearts of all, show which of these two You have chosen

¹⁷ And if you call on the Father, who ^(A)without partiality judges according to each one’s work, conduct yourselves throughout the time of your ^[a]stay here in fear;

⁵ But in accordance with your hardness and your ^[a]impenitent heart ^(A)you are ^[b]treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God, ⁶ who ^(B)“will render to each one according to his deeds”: ⁷ eternal life to those who by patient continuance in doing good seek for glory, honor, and immortality; ⁸ but to those who are self-seeking and ^(C)do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness—indignation and wrath, ⁹ tribulation and anguish, on every soul of man who does evil, of the Jew ^(D)first and also of the ^[c]Greek; ^10 (E)but glory, honor, and peace to everyone who works what is good, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. ¹¹ For ^(F)there is no partiality with God.

²⁴ But Jesus did not commit Himself to them, because He ^(A)knew all men, ²⁵ and had no need that anyone should testify of man, for ^(B)He knew what was in man.
